We are Moving + Your cycles as a woman

Can you feel a quickening in the energy of the Universe? It’s all happening in my household. My family and I are moving house on Monday  (Just after I sponsor at The Gathering – 2014) .. so whilst getting prepared for the event, and having to organise the move – I am surprisingly calm. 

Yes I do feel “pressure” to get things done and have things ready at my booth.. yet.. it hasn’t really phased me. I took plenty of time to rest on Monday as it was the first day of my cycle and I didn’t plan too much at all. I had a long afternoon nap with my baby, had a client call in the evening. It all felt really nourishing.

This internal GPS that guides you toward optimal wellness, happy relationships, less stress, and more ease- is actually your monthly cycle. Way more than just the days when you actually have your period, your cycle is a roadmap that helps you determine what to do, when to do it, and what not to do.

Sadly, too many of us have a bad relationship with our cycles. We get PMS, or bad cramps, or intense mood swings. In my case, I didn’t like the way I was initiated into my cycles. I was embarrassed instead of being celebrated. I learned not to look forward to my cycles and in the past,  perceived my cycles as a “nuisance” because I wasn’t taught any differently.

How could something that causes so much angst possibly be a good thing?

Your cycle is your connection to the wisest part of yourself and to Mother Nature. When you learn how to give your body what it needs when it needs it, your intuition and your body’s natural capacity to heal itself is re-ignited. That’s when you naturally shed excess pounds/kilos. Heal PMS. Improve your relationships because you’re no longer picking fights for one week out of every month.
